The Soap For Hope story…

Soap for Hope started in 2013 as an annual Christmas fundraiser for the Educational Equity Alliance. Our CEO’s wife, Stefanie, proposed the idea and their family was off and running with soap making and mess making in their kitchen! Neighborhood children helped make the soap, and neighbors and friends took boxes of products to their businesses and friends, raising funds for students in the Alliance.

In 2019…

Soap for Hope Fundraising established a soapmaking production workshop in Coatesville, PA., and in the following year launched our online store to expand our fundraising efforts.

In 2020…

Soap for Hope Youth Entrepreneurs was launched, offering a 20-week entrepreneurial training and development course for Coatesville youth in Coatesville Kids to College. Through the SFH Youth Entrepreneurship program, students learn the skillsets and mindset of how to operate a small business. Topics include product development, cost analysis, marketing, sales, and more.

In 2021…

Soap for Hope Fundraising was established, offering schools, sports teams, churches, and clubs the opportunity to fundraise with our high-quality soap products.

Today…

Soap for Hope Fundraising includes our online store, wholesale and franchise accounts, and fundraisers for schools, teams, churches, and clubs. 100% of our net proceeds go to support the Educational Equity Alliance’s programs for children and youth. Additionally, SFH employs Coatesville high school youth who have graduated from our SFH Youth Entrepreneurship Program in our production workshop.
